Nurmakhanbetov Arman Leskhanuly is a graduate of the Psychology Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. He holds a Doctor of Psychological Sciences degree. From 2002 to 2023 he served in the national security agencies and the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He led the development of the Concept of Personnel Policy of the Law Enforcement Agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2014–2018, as well as the section Modernization of Personnel Policy and Departmental Education within the Action Plan for the implementation of the State Program for the Further Modernization of the Law Enforcement System of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2014–2020. He introduced innovations into the systems of initial professional training, advanced training and the preparation of the Presidential Reserve of managerial personnel for law enforcement agencies (2016). He has been actively involved in building scientific capacity in the field of psychological support for the activities of security and law enforcement structures. Under his supervision, several candidates and doctors of sciences were trained; in 2009–2010 he chaired the dissertation council for doctoral dissertation defenses. He currently represents the research direction Psychology of Digital Thinking and Human–AI Interaction, which focuses on empirical studies and practical exploration of the digital environment as a resource for personal development, the formation of digital agency and metacognition in the context of global transformations. His primary research interests include the psychology of human interaction with artificial intelligence, digital self- regulation and cognitive flexibility, the psychology of digital influence in social networks, digital adaptation and psychological well-being, and the neuropsychology of the digital environment.
